Exosens, a French Company, Will Increase Its Drone Thermal Camera Output

In addition to reporting a 15.3% increase in first-half sales and raising its full-year projection, the French defense company Exosens (EXENS.PA) announced on Tuesday that it will triple thermal-camera production capacity in 2026 to satisfy the increasing demand from drone and counter-drone applications.

The manufacturer of night vision equipment stated that it now anticipates full-year revenue and adjusted EBITDA to be in the upper end of its respective guidance ranges, which are 520 million to 540 million euros and 168 million to 178 million euros. Additionally, it anticipates capital expenditures of about 9% of 2026 sales, which will be fueled by the increase of manufacturing capacity in the US and Europe. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 18.3% to 83.6 million euros in the first half.

The company claimed that the capacity expansion would improve its position in one of the fastest-growing defense areas and that demand for sophisticated imaging systems used in autonomous defense platforms was increasing.
